Let your homeless best friend stay with you, he said. Being roommates will be fun, he said. It's only temporary, he said.
He never said I'd fall for him.
The Roommate Agreement, all-new hilarious and romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Emma Hart is available now!
You know what isn't 'temporary?' The endless stream of dirty socks in my bathroom and empty food packets under the sofa—and don't even get me started on the hot guys who take over my living room every Sunday to watch sports.
I can't take anymore.
So I propose a roommate agreement. One that will bring peace and order back to my life, complete with rules that might just stop my newfound crush on my best friend in its tracks.
After all, there’s only so many times you can see your best friend naked before you start to lose your mind.
Rules. They're meant to be broken... Aren't they?

Johnaka's Review:
“Falling for your best friend, 5 stars”
Shelby and Jay have been best friends for two decades and never once thought about their relationship changing. Until they moved in together. Now they see each other differently and the attraction is combustible. The question is will they risk twenty years of friendship for a chance at love?
I enjoyed Shelby and Jay. I loved that she’s an introvert much like myself. The differences between the two were obvious but they made each other better. They had basically been in a relationship for years but never realized it. The Roommate Agreement had all of Hart’s quirkiness. One thing is for sure, you wont regret one-clicking The Roommate Agreement.

Jennifer's Review:
Sweet and funny! The Roommate Agreement is everything you would expect from Emma Hart. It is a romance novel with a relatable heroine, a hot alpha, tons of sass, and of course humor. If you wanna laugh, get in on this one
This book has a great plot. I am not usually a huge fan of friends to lovers books, but Emma changed my mind with this one. I loved how the plot flowed smoothly. Everything made sense to me.
Shelby is a great character. She is awkward and nerdy. She is strong yet insecure. Honestly she is one of the most realistic characters I have read about in a long while. Jay is a great character as well. He is such a man. With that being said, I liked how Emma portrays him.
The heat in this book is great. It explores what happens when you see someone you thought you knew in a different light. The feelings and attraction that comes along with that. I liked the heat in this book.
I really enjoyed the writing style. The pace of the book is steady. The story is told from a dual point of view. I liked the minor characters. The situations described were perfect and added to the story.
Overall, I loved this book. Give me a sarcastic woman any day. I loved how the characters are written and how the story is told. I would recommend this book to others.
