Michael Becker’s best friend has always been Kylie. He just kind of forgot that when he got a girlfriend. When his girlfriend leaves and he’s left floundering its Kylie who picks up the pieces. How had he missed that his best friend has changed over the years? When did she get boobs? Has she always been in love with him or are his brothers wrong? There are so many questions and so little time to figure them out. So soon after his disastrous breakup is it smart to move on? Especially with someone like Kylie?
Kylie has been in love with Michael for as long as she can remember. Sometimes you love someone when they don’t love you and that’s okay. But time is running out and she needs to tell him how she feels before he leaves. Will she be able to change his mind not only about her but about leaving? Only one way to find out.
Dear god did Steiner gut me with Manhattan. My heart broke for Kylie. That girl…she loved Michael silently but fiercely for years. It made my heart hurt for her but respect her like no other. Yeah, there were times I wanted to Gibbs slap Michael upside the back of his head, but he’s 18. By the end he had it together. Steiner is killing it with this series and honestly, I don’t want it to end. But at the same time I cannot wait for the next book.
