I didn’t know I would fall for him.
He is, after all, my enemy.
I planned to break his heart, not realizing it was already in pieces.

He’s an asshole, you see.
He runs this town.
And he thinks he can run me too.
Well, he can think again.

Most women don’t fall at the feet of a man like him. No, they grovel.
But I hate him too much to ever give him the satisfaction.
Regardless of his too beautiful face and commanding presence, I refuse to let him win.
Because if I lose, I fall.
And I might never get back up.

Jennifer's Review
Alpha male at his best! Kisses and Warfare is a stand-alone novel in an interconnected series. I did not read any other books, but was able to easily read this one without feeling I missed anything major.

The books plot was interesting. There were twists and turns I didn't see coming. I liked that it was unpredictable. I also loved that our main girl was tough. Too many times we see weak females the alpha has to save. Not in this book. Our girl can hold her own.

The heat in this book is there from page one. Its obvious these characters have an undeniable chemistry. It lead to some pretty sexy scenes. The writing style was good as well. I liked the pace of the book.

Overall, this was a good MC book. It drew me in and kept me entertained. I would recommend it to others.
