REVIEW - Me Before You - JoJo Moyes

Blurb:

Lou Clark knows lots of things. She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus stop and home. She knows she likes working in The Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her boyfriend Patrick.

What Lou doesn't know is she's about to lose her job or that knowing what's coming is what keeps her sane.

Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now and he knows exactly how he's going to put a stop to that.

What Will doesn't know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And neither of them knows they're going to change the other for all time.

Review:

This is one of those books where I didn't want to read it but wanted to read it .. if that makes any sense.

Everyone was talking about it so I wanted to read it before watching the movie. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes is about a woman named Louisa who is hired to be there for Will. Will got in an accident and is a quadriplegic. Those two have different personalities and I really enjoyed reading this book. Will just wants to give up. Can Louisa change Will's mind? You'll have to read it find out.

The writing captivates you from the first page. This is the first book I've read by Jojo and it wont be the last.

My favorite character is Louisa because she is just a simple fun girl who just has an interesting life. At first, I didn't like how Will talked to Louisa but as the story unfolds he turns out to be another favorite of mine.

This story made me cry. It will be one of those books that stick with me forever. So if you haven't read it yet make sure you have tissues ready.

Parts of the story I liked:

"I needed to tell him, silently that things might change, grow, or fail, but that life did go on."

"If he has love, he will feel he can go on."

That ending was hard to read...
