Lucy Stark is on the run.
After making one wrong turn and witnessing a violent crime that left a woman
dead, Lucy became a target. So, she packed up and moved to the beaches of the
New Jersey shore.
Years ago, Carter Downs made a vow to protect and serve his community. But in
all his years as an officer, he never expected he’d have a citizen start
complaining about the law after driving right into his patrol
car.
Learning she’s new in town and intrigued by her spitfire personality, Carter
offers to show Lucy around. And it isn’t long before trips to the beach with
Carter begin to cloud her mind.
But criminals don’t play by the rules. So, when Lucy’s trouble follows her
across state lines, Carter needs to figure out how to uphold the law while
protecting her from their brand of justice.
Johnaka's Review
“One wrong turn or was it? 4 stars”
One Wrong Turn is a sweet quick romance about a woman who sees something she shouldn’t because of a wrong turn and runs. Then she takes another wrong turn right into a police officer. That police Officer being Carter. These two fall hard and fast for each other. But is Lucy’s life still in danger because of what she saw?
One Wrong Turn was a good quick story that gave me the feels I wanted. I will say that it’s probably not the story for most with the instalove. With that said One Wrong Turn hit the spot and I cannot wait to see what A.K. does next.
