BLURB

A FLIRTY, SEXY, AND HEARTFELT FORBIDDEN SPORTS ROMANCE SET IN THE WORLD OF PROFESSIONAL DANCE. (STANDALONE)

Lex
I came to L.A. with dreams bigger than me.
To learn from the best choreographers in the business and secure a professional dance gig working for Hollywood’s elite.
Everything was going according to plan—until I was literally shoved into the arms of the one man who could make or break my career.
Come to find out, it wasn’t my career I had to worry about.
It was my heart.

Theo
Everything about Alexandra “Lex” Quinn screamed amateur, save for the way she moved across the dance floor.
She was athleticism and grace, precision and passion, and she had a stage presence I couldn’t tear my eyes from.
I wanted her...on my team, in my bed.
There was only one problem...
I couldn’t have both.

OUR REVIEW
“Dance and love, 5 stars”

Theo is the choreographer everyone wants to work with. But what they don’t know is he’s currently kind of a mess. He’s behind on his current production and doesn’t know which side is up. Then he meets Lex and everything starts to fall into place. Much to his dismay she surpasses all his dancing expectations and inspires him. What will happen if he starts to fall for her? Both of their jobs will be on the line, but will it be worth it?
Lex lights up on stage but its right before she questions if she’s good enough. When she gets a private invite to an audition she has no idea what’s she’s in for but when Theo walks in it all clicks. He’s the one choreographer she’s always admired and would die to work for, but a bad brief encounter may hold her back. When she gets to know the man outside of dance what will she find?
Now I love dance even though I have two left feet. Even though this was a different style of dance this book gave me total Derek Hough and Haylee (his girlfriend he met when she was a dancer on his tour) vibes and I freaking loved it. They both had each other’s best interests in mind and were willing to do whatever they had to, to make sure the other made it. I especially loved where Allen added dance video links within the story to see what she was picturing.
Center of Gravity is one of those story’s you can go back to and reread later and love it again. The characters just work, the secondary main ones are awesome with two questionable ones, but it just added to the story. I can’t wait to see if Allen gives us another dance book because if she does, then I’ll be the first in line.
