Our Review:
I just need more! Heathens is just as good, if not better than, all the others before. Heathens is book four in the Badlands series. While it covers a different couple, the books before should really be read in order to fully understand the plot. This book is just as dirty, depraved, and nasty as the books before. You need to have a wicked mind to handle these books.
The plot of this book picks up a little bit after the last book ends. We pick up with Blue and Cobra where they have found themselves. The plot of this book is much like the other books. There is a big bad and the Savages are going to do what they do best. I loved that this book had the same feel of the others, but also had its own unique feel to it.
Blue is such a unique character. We met her in Outcasts, but I feel like we didn’t really know who she is. This book showed us a whole other side to her. I liked this new side. Then we have Cobra. I liked him from the beginning. I liked getting to know him as more than just one of the Devil’s brothers. This book showed me another side to him as well.
The heat in this book is great. It is dark, dirty, and depraved. At times, I cringed at how dirty it got, but it just made the book even better. It helped really set the mood for this entire book. Without the dirty heat, this book would not have been as amazing as it turned out to be. I loved this aspect of the book.
The writing style of this book is great. I loved the dual point of views. I really loved that this book was very fast moving. It kept my heart rate up. There were surprises around every corner. I didn’t know what to expect next, which is a refreshing change. I loved the characters and I loved that we were able to see other characters from past books as well. I feel this book really gave us a lot of insight.
Overall, this was an amazing book. I was so upset when it ended because I just wanted more and more. I cannot wait to see what this author does next. I would one hundred percent recommend this book to others. I plan to go back and reread this series over and over.

Author Bio:
Natalie Bennett is the creator of erotic stories that always come with a warning label. She writes about depraved alpha a**holes and women that love to hate them. Her books don't follow any specific tropes, have no set word counts, and tend to deviate from traditional HEA's.

When she isn't in front of her computer she's spending time with her husband and their three little boys.

Natalie is an avid fan of caramel frappes, horror movies, Shameless, and of course, reading.
