TITLE - How to date a Douchebag - The Studying Hours
AUTHOR - Sara Ney
BLURB:
CRUDE. ARROGANT. A**HOLE.
No doubt about it, Sebastian ‘Oz’ Osborne is the university’s most celebrated student athlete—and possibly the biggest douchebag. A walking, talking cliché, he has a filthy mouth, a fantastic body, and doesn’t give a sh*t about what you or anyone else thinks.
SMART. CLASSY. CONSERVATIVE.
Make no mistake, Jameson Clarke may be the university’s most diligent student—but she is no prude. Spending most of her time in the hallowed halls of the library, James is wary of pervs, jocks, and douchebags—and Oz Osborne is all three.
She’s smart, sarcastic—and not what he expected.
…EVERY DOUCHEBAG HAS HIS WEAKNESS.
He wants to be friends.
He wants to spend time with her.
He wants to drive her crazy.
He wants…
Her.

REVIEW:
Wow! What can I say about How to Date a Douchebag: The Studying Hours?
This was one amazing book. I mean it really blew my hair back. I picked
this book up because the title intrigued me, but the writing style and
characters pulled me in and kept me reading til the very end. This is
one of the best books I have read in a while and I cannot wait to share
it with others.
First, this book has the usual plot. Cocky bad boy meets quiet bookworm.
This sound like you have read it before? I thought so too, but after
reading it I realized this book goes way deeper. It starts off much the
same, but quickly takes a detour to new unchartered ground in my
opinion. The plot was only one of the many things I loved about this
book.
Next, the characters are wonderful. Jameson “James” Clark is one of my
new favorite female characters of all time. She is funny, witty, and
feisty. I love that about her. I also love how she is willing to admit
to herself how she feels, even if she is outwardly denying it. Then you
have Sebastian “Oz” Osborne. He is a character all on his own. Big ego
and an even bigger personality. I think he is the character who needed
to develop most in this book. I am happy to say I believe he developed
quite wonderfully.
The writing style in this book is quite unique to me. I loved all the
clever banter between characters. My favorite part in this book is the
way the book is laid out, specifically Oz and his thoughts. I can’t
reveal much more than that, but let me just say at one point I was
hyperventilating about his thoughts. I haven’t had such a strong
reaction to a book in a while. This was amazing for me.
I cannot forget to mention the heat. Now a lot of times when someone
says heat you think sex right? This book gives you so much heat without
the sexual component to it. I mean I was sweltering hot throughout a
good portion of the book. The flirting and chemistry just comes alive in
front of your eyes. I don’t know how the author did it, but I sure am
in love.
In conclusion, this is a MUST READ. I have never read any books by this
author before, but I am sure glad I decided to pick up her book and give
it a chance. I was in a slight reading slump when I came upon her book
and it pulled me right out of it. I cannot wait to continue to read
books from her and hope she writes many more in the future as well,
especially with all the minor characters in this book. I have already
begun recommending this book to my friends and family. Amazing job!
