REVIEW - Grayson's Vow - Mia Sheridan

TITLE - Grayson's Vow

AUTHOR - Mia Sheridan

Releases September 10th

Synopsis:

A full-length, standalone romance from the New York Times bestselling author of Archer's Voice.

Kira Dallaire is desperate.

Some challenges in life seem too hard to overcome. With little money, and even fewer options, the quick-witted and vibrant twenty-two-year-old needs to reinvent herself. Known for her generous heart and impulsive personality, she devises a survival plan, possibly her most outrageous idea yet.

Grayson Hawthorn is losing hope.

Some obstacles in life seem too hard to overcome. Betrayal definitely being one of them. With limited capital, and dwindling resources, he is attempting to resurrect his failing family vineyard, a self-imposed vow seemingly destined to fail. That is until a young woman enters his office with an outlandish, unexpected proposition impossible to refuse.

What begins as a temporary business arrangement, soon evolves into more as vivacious, spirited Kira challenges detached, arrogant Grayson to want more from life. To want more for himself. But as their wills clash and fiery passion ignites, they'll realize that sometimes the past creates walls too difficult to climb, and that lies and deception rarely precede a happily every after.

As Kira and Grayson race toward their destiny, they will discover that some vows are meant to be broken, and others are worth risking everything for . . . even your very own heart.

THIS IS A STANDALONE SIGN OF LOVE NOVEL, INSPIRED BY LIBRA. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

My Review:

Grayson's Vow has proved again, how addictive Mia Sheridan's story telling skill is. This story was beautiful, and inspiring and completely unputdownable. Mia Sheridan never fails to impress.

Grayson is the dark, gorgeous, and awfully grumpy owner of a beautiful vineyard in Napa.
Kira is the estranged daughter of a prominent Mayor.

Whatever anyone's thoughts are on these 2 characters, it's going to be completely the opposite. She is not a spoiled princess with money, and he nothing like the rumors portray about him.
Yet they both make their own conclusions about each other, early on.
Both are desperate and need nothing short of a miracle. Kira has a crazy, but do-able plan. But she needs Grayson's help, and so begins her mission to recruit Grayson in to her idea, and try and make it work.

There is plenty of steaming chemistry, hilarious moments, tear welling moments, and of course completely gorgeous backdrops of vineyards and fairytale mansions. Plus if you are looking for the fairytale HEA to match, the ending is perfection!!

The writing style is what always grabs me, with a Mia Sheridan book. Even if you didn't enjoy the story, you can't help but continue reading, the characters, and background always make for addictive reading.

I have no idea why every book I read of Mia Sheridan's, reminds me so much of a Virginia Andrews novel. I know I mentioned it with Kyland, and I felt it again with Grayson's Vow, perhaps not as strong in this one, but it was there nevertheless. It has to be the characters, especially Kira in this book. She has this sweet, naturally gorgeous, and kind natured personality. Kinda too nice for her own good sometimes. Sometimes a little naive, but generally through her kindness and wanting to believe the best in everyone, and wanting to help any which way she can. It's very much like Virginia Andrews heroines. Plus of course the scenery and backgrounds. Especially this time, the fairytale mansion has........a MAZE!! Best thing ever, and that also reminded me of a VA novel again. Of course the only reason I compare, is because I am a huge VA fan, of her older work of course, and it's what I love about Mia Sheridan's novels, it reminds me of my favourite books ever.

So, this is again a highly recommended Mia Sheridan book, to match the other signs of the zodiac books. With a perfect love story, to leave a lasting impression. It's not quite as dramatic as Kyland, Archer's voice, or the Becoming Calder duo. But, it's still just as gripping, and a beautiful love story with perfect backgrounds. A definite must read!
