Title: Keeping Kane
Series: Face-Off Legacy #2 (Standalone Series)
Author: Jillian Quinn
Genre: New Adult Sports Romance
Release Date: December 5, 2018
Two hot hockey players
A complete misunderstanding…
And an unplanned pregnancy
I should have known they were different people.
It was so stupid of me not to notice.
But Tucker’s hands set my skin of fire as much as Trent’s.
Tuck whispered sweet things that made me want more.
Trent did this sexy thing that made my toes curl.
And I was lost to them, without even knowing it.
I fell hard, but only one of them owned my heart.
Only one of them loved me back.
And I was hoping it was the right guy…
As I stared down at the blue lines on the pregnancy test.
Johnaka's Review:
“Which twin is it? 4 stars”
Jemma is from a farming community and decided to transfer to a different college her junior year. She needed a fresh start, and this was her shot. What she didn’t plan was meeting the Kane twins and how they would turn her life upside down. When she finds herself pregnant what will she do?
Trent wanted Jemma from the moment he met her. What he didn’t expect was for his brother to like her as well. Who will get the girl? If he’s the lucky one will he be able to keep her? What about hockey? And most importantly is he the dad?
First off, I feel the need to point out the love triangle in this story is no where near as scandalous as it sounds. But it really did add a twist to the story that was good. I felt like Jemma ended up with the right twin and I’m excited to see what Quinn does for Tucker. Even though it was a solid story I had no problem setting it down and doing what I needed around my home. I didn’t keep drifting to my phone to read instead which lead to a 4 instead of a 5-star rating. Even with that said I hope you enjoy Keeping Kane.

Jennifer's Review:
I mean…. Wow. Not what I was expecting at all. Keeping Kane is an amazing book. I really enjoyed the story and characters. I also loved that we got a glimpse into the characters from book one as well, but during everything they were going through. I am beyond excited for the next set of characters.
The plot of this book was interesting. What happens when a girl falls for a boy? Happily ever after? Or does she realize that there are two boys? That look exactly the same? How will our main girl handle it? Will she make the right choice or is it destined to burn in flames?
Jemma is such a great character. She is uniquely herself. She has a backbone. She also has real flaws. I liked that she was realistic yet strong. Then you have Tucker and Trent. Each have their personality traits that tell them a part, but they are also similar in some ways. I loved getting to know each of them.
The heat in this book is off the charts. I mean just from the first chance meeting between Jemma and one of the twins we could tell things were going to be hot. Add in the second twin and the confusion that follows actually added to the heat for me. Which one is she responding to? Which one is the one she has chemistry with? Read it to find out.
The writing style of this book was good. It was told from three point of views, which works for this book. The pace of the story is steady. I really liked the minor characters. I am interested to see where the author takes some of them. I really liked this world.
Overall, this is a great book. While there is no cheating, this book does skirt a dangerous line. For me, it was perfect, but I can see how others might not enjoy it. I just urge you to give it a shot.
