Hoax knows two things very well.
One, he’s not relationship material. Two, the nurse that treats him for erectile dysfunction is the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen, and practically has ‘the marrying type’ stamped on her forehead.
Does that stop him from wanting her? No.
Unfortunately, he learned a long time ago that Army Delta Force and long-lasting relationships don’t go hand in hand.
But beautiful hazel eyes, curly blonde hair, and the prettiest lips he’s ever seen play havoc with his resolve, making him forget his earlier convictions.
All it takes is one teeny, tiny kiss for every shred of control he has to disappear, along with the problem in his pants.
Soon he finds himself doing things that he knows that he shouldn’t. He doesn’t know that he’s found the woman that’s meant to be his. Nor does he realize that her father is the man he’s idolized from the moment he joined the army at the age of eighteen. Because, maybe if he had, he would’ve tried a little harder to ignore the pull he felt between them instead of making her his the night before he deployed for six months.
He also might’ve tried a little harder not to knock her up.
“my bad or a pat on the back? 5 stars”
Okay, I’ve been following this series from the start and when I met Hoax I was instantly intrigued. I wanted his story and am so happy with what Vale did. I absolutely adored it and I cannot wait to see who’s story she does next.
Hoax has one of those military jobs that you can’t talk about. He lives for his job and if it wasn’t for an unfortunate accident, he would be doing it. But alas he has the time off and that’s a good thing too otherwise he never would have gotten to know Pru let alone knock her up. What will happen when he has to go back to work though?
Pru doesn’t do military guys. Don’t get me wrong she apricates them but she’s been burned one too many times by someone in uniform. When she meets Hoax there is no denying, she’s attracted to him, but she still writes him off. Hoax though is persistent. What will happen once she lets him in?
These two were perfect for each other in every way. I literally would not change a single thing about this couple. I was cheering for them from the very start. From them to the secondary character’s I just loved it all. This may be my favorite Bear Bottom MC book in the series. Go one-click, you won’t regret it.
