How can a fidelity test possibly go wrong? In this sweet and sexy romance, international bestselling author Tara Brown counts the ways…

Among her superrich friends, Lacey Winters never minded being the “poor one.” That is, until her tuition money and big dreams vanish overnight. Now Lacey has a plan to make some extra cash—a devilishly brilliant plan. For a fee, she’ll test your boyfriend to find out if he’s faithful or a cheating jerk. Her next target: a slick and sexy trust-fund playboy. Unfortunately for Lacey, his charms aren’t just legend. And before she knows it, she’s under his spell.

It was bad enough that Jordan Somersby’s father forced a spoiled “society princess” on him. Then Jordan had to go and find his dream girl—the beautiful, fun, and down-to-earth Lacey. And he’ll do anything to prove he’s sincere. But pretty soon it’ll be Lacey’s turn to prove that this is not just a game.

Because, when it comes to mixing love and deception, nothing is what it seems. And Lacey and Jordan are about to face the ultimate test.

OUR REVIEW:

He Loves you Not is a decent book; It has romance, scandals and rich socialites. This is the 2nd book in the Serendipity series.

This story is about Lacey Winters the middle class girl in a sea of rich friends, working her way through college with her BFF’s father she has a future set out and her eye on the prize. When she finds out some devastating family news she is forced to find other ways to pay for her final year in college, refusing to ask her friends for help she finds work in testing men and their faithfulness. What she never expected was to be testing the one she was falling for at the request of another woman. Scandals are revealed and friendships tested. Could creating ‘The Test Dummy’ be the downfall of Lacey and the people she cares about the most?

This is the first novel I have read of Brown’s, personally while I enjoyed the storyline, but the lead up felt like I was reading in slow motion, it wasn’t till around the 50% mark that the story started for me leaving me feeling like the ending was rushed and we didn’t get much time with Lacey and Jordan; a few chapters and an epilogue wasn’t enough for me.
While this may not have been one of my favourites I am looking forward to reading more of Tara Brown’s work in the future.

I believe growing up in a really small town gives a person a little advantage when it comes to the imagination. You need one or you go mad.
Needless to say, mine saved me. After it got me into trouble first, that is. That's the problem with a vivid imagination, all the lies you tell.

I am happily married with two daughters.
I have two giant dogs, two savage cats, and a penchant for a glass of red.
Also, I drag my bread through the sauce. I can't help myself, bread is life.
According to my age, I am meant to be a responsible adult, but it isn't going well at all. I would still head off to Hogwarts tomorrow and I suspect there isn't a single wardrobe I haven't crept into, hoping to find the door to Narnia. And don't even get me started on the King's Road, I get lost.

Fortunately, I am an international bestseller so I have wormed my way into a quirky or eccentric category.

Thank God for that.
