ABOUT THE BOOK

INSTANT ATTRACTION IS A POWERFUL THING.

Six months of dancing around each other led to one explosive night and two weeks without a word.

Only then did I learn the truth:
The man I’d wanted since he walked into Sailor’s Grave Tattoo Parlor was actually an undercover cop.

And the worst part is, I don’t even know his real name.

BUT WHAT IF ATTRACTION ISN’T ENOUGH

For over eight months I held back.
Except for that one night when I couldn’t fight it anymore.
I’d wanted her from the beginning, but I should have kept waiting until my secrets weren’t between us.

Now, I have the ultimate challenge before me:
Convince the inked goddess of a receptionist to at least let me keep her safe, even if she won’t give me another chance.

OUR REVIEWS

“Instant attraction, 4 stars”

Jess has never been one to be instantly attracted to someone until she met Jackson. They went months on this marry go round of circling each other when finally she had enough. She asked him out, he turned her down, then changed his mind. They had one amazing night together and then he disappeared. Was he who he said he was? She claims she’s done with him, but is she?
Braden shouldn’t have gotten with Jess when he did. He broke all the rules, but he just couldn’t hold back anymore. Finally, when he comes back he goes to make his move, only now Jess is in danger and wants to keep him at arm’s length. Will he make it back onto her good side or will he forever be stuck looking from the outside in?
I loved these two. I loved how Braden built Jess up and made her see herself through his eyes. I loved how feisty Jess was and how she wasn’t afraid to give anyone hell. The secondary characters just helped round out the story for me and I cannot wait for the next book in the series. The only down fall of the Inked for me was I figured out who was coming for Jess early on. I read a lot of suspense so that might be why it was obvious to me. Aside from that Inked was a great book.

Inked is the 2nd book in the Sailor Grave series, a spin off of Elyse’s very successful Savage Disciples MC books; This is the suspenseful love story of Jess and Braden.

Jess is the receptionist at Sailor’s Grave Tattoo Parlour, she gets to meet lots of people including the gorgeous man that continues to flirt with her, after 6 months of hoping he would ask her out she gives and asks him, what she did not expect was to be rejected. When he turns up at her door changing his mind they spend 1 incredible night together to then have him ghost her. Braden knew giving in to his desires would only make it more complicated, he only hoped that after the mess that was his life and career was cleared up she would give him a chance.

‘There wasn’t one doubt in my mind from the start that I’d wanted her.’

Jess and Braden have an instant attraction that built up over months of flirting and teasing, when they finally came together they were explosive leaving me blushing and hoping that Elyse had included more steamier Jess and Braden scenes.

Elyse has yet again delivered; her writing is solid and the story seamlessly goes between the 2 characters with ease making the book flow. I personally enjoyed this book and it kept me on the edge of my seat until the end wondering who was wreaking havoc.

I cannot wait to read the final instalment of the series with Parker’s story.
