Ashley’s mother married her stepfather when she was thirteen. What she didn’t know is there was more to the union than what anyone knew. Now her mother’s dead and her stepfather has plans for her. Plans she has no desire to partake in. Will she make it out alive or will her stepfather get what he wants? Then everything gets more complicated when she meets Julian, will he be the one to save her in the end?
Julian just wants to be alone, especially after the nose dive that his life took. When a girl shows up with his landlords needing a place to hide he has no choice but to let her in. A girl she is not, but a woman, a woman he can’t help but want. But because of he’s recent deception at the hands of another woman he doesn’t trust her. Then things change between them. When Ashley’s past come’s roaring forward will he mess up again or will he be able to save her?
I really got into Fragments of Ash. I thought Julian was amazing when it came to Ashley and loved how he tried to bring her into the real world. Ashley was the definition of sheltered and so it was fun to watch her grow into who she should be. I loved the idea of Fragments of Ash and the reverse of the classic idea of evil step mother. Plus, part of the proceeds go to charity, so for that reason alone you should go one-click.
