BLURB

Luca St. Kelly was a perfectly timed distraction.
A temptation that quickly morphed into addiction.
He’s closed off, and volatile. A self-proclaimed jerk... yet, I can’t seem to get enough.
Hey... heartbreak... ‘sup old friend.....

Francesca Walker is certifiable.
That’s one thing I’m sure of. That, and certain parts of my body really seem to like her.
Yeah... I know that too.
She strutted into my life, a complication I didn’t need but definitely wanted.
I convinced myself I could handle her, problem is that measly organ beating in my chest, yeah, I didn’t quite factor him into the equation.
Hey... heartbreak... f*ck you!!

OUR REVIEWS
ARCHER:
Great story with some heart break! Archer was a great story. I liked that the story really discusses some serious stuff that needs to be out there in the world. It was realistic. This book has romance and heat, but it also has complete heartbreak. Like I was crying in this book on more than one occasion. It is totally worth it though.
The plot of this book is interesting. I mean if you read the blurb, you are like “what the heck am I getting myself into?” The answer is that you are stepping into a great story that really discusses the feelings couples feel in everyday life. I mean everything isn’t always peaches and cream and I love that this story discusses that.
Annabelle is a freaking saint. Seriously. She deserves a medal or a statue or something. This woman has strength that we all hope that we would have if faced with a difficult situation. I loved everything about her character. Archer is a good character as well. I mean I wanted to punch him more than once, but I think it was a realistic depiction of what I feel someone who has faced what he has would go through.
The heat between these two was never lacking. I think the history between the two was what really put their heat over the top. I liked the chemistry and heat between the two characters. I especially liked how solid they seemed through most of the book. I think this added to that heat by showing trust. When you trust someone, the heat is always even better.
The writing style was good. The book is told from a dual point of view. I liked the minor characters. I will say Anabelle’s relationship with Jake, Archer’s brother is odd to me, but I think that was the point. My only complaint is that I feel this book was hard to get into. I felt like I struggled through the first bit of the book before I really became invested. It was slow starting, but once the momentum got going, I enjoyed it.
Overall, this was a good book. It made me laugh and cry. It broke my heart at points and I loved every minute of it. I would recommend this book to others, but I would warn them to stick with it even if it seems slow. This book does discuss some serious topics so get ready for that as well. I think others would enjoy this book.

JAKE:
UGH! Another great story! Jake is the second book in the Leaves of Maple series. This book is much like the first book, but also has its own unique plot. I like how the books are tied together. This book has angst and drama, but it also has some heartwarming moments. I really enjoyed it.
I knew I was going to love Jake from book one. We were able to see him from a very early age and watch him grow up. I think by reading the first book, that really set the tone for this one. We know that something was going on with Jake and Aubrey, but we just didn’t know what. This book shows us that.
Jake is a great character. I really love his loyalty to his family. I also love his huge heart. Watching him change into a man from the child I previously viewed him as in book one was amazing. Aubrey, on the other hand, really irritated me at times. I like that she figured her life out eventually, but I feel like it just took too long for her to get there. I did like her well enough.
The heat in this book was perfect for what was needed. I will say I was a little surprised by Jake, but I think it is just because I still viewed him as the kid he once was. Once I got past that though? Whew. Give me a fan. It was HOT!
The writing style of this story was good. The pace of the book was steady. The characters were likeable for the most part. Even if Aubrey was a little annoying. I really liked getting to see Jake as an adult and really getting to know him differently. I cannot wait to see where this author goes next.
Overall, I liked this book. It was written well. The heat was good. The only reason I rated it a 4 was because I just didn’t care for Aubrey too much. If she had been more likeable for me personally, I would have rated it higher. I can’t wait to read the next book though.

BENNETT:
Great story! Bennett is the third book in the Leaves of Maple series. I really suggest reading the others in the series as they are all interconnected even though we get a different couple in each book. This book has humor and heat, but it also has that tell-tale angst that Jenner is known for.
We learned about these two characters in book one. I really liked seeing the relationship these two have through their own eyes. We have gotten glimpses of them through others points of views, but I felt it was important to see their story from their own. With their own words and thoughts, we are able to really get a feel for them. I liked their story.
I liked Darci. She was written realistically. She has some insecurities, but that is normal. I liked how she was able to move past them and become who she needed to be. Then you have Bennett. He is a great character. I liked his personality and reactions. Especially with the big bomb that was dropped in this story. He is a better man than most
I feel like this story is based on the heat between these two. These two have had this chemistry crackling between them ever since book one. As the story progresses, the heat just keeps getting better. This aspect of the book was perfect.
The writing style of this book was good. The pace of the story was steady. I liked the dual point of views. I liked that we got to see some other characters as well. I really loved the surprise story-line. I wasn’t expecting that, although maybe I should have. It was great.
Overall, this is a great book. I really liked Bennett and Darci’s story. I cannot wait to see what is going on with Luca next. I would recommend this book and the series to others.

LUCA:

EEEEK! I am so excited about this one! Luca is a highly anticipated book for me personally. I have loved Luca from book one. Luca is book four of the Leaves of Maple series. These books are interconnected and should be read together to get the full effect.
I knew Luca’s book would be amazing. I mean Luca is the playboy of the series. He is flirty and fun. No girl has yet to tame him. So for him to finally to get his own book and to pair him up with Frankie was perfect. These two characters were perfect together.
Frankie is a little spitfire. I love her sassy attitude and her ability to stick up for herself. She has so many layers to her that I loved learning about. Then you have Luca. I mean I knew Luca had his own layers. How could I not? The playboy always has more to him than meets the eye. This book proves that.
The heat between these two was amazing. I loved watching them get to know each other. The sass from Frankie mixed with the cocky personality of Luca set the pages on fire. The heat in all of these books have been amazing.
The writing style of this book is great. The pace was steady. The story is told from a dual point of view. I really liked how this story had a similar feel to the others in the series, but was also its own book. It can stand on it’s own and really give the others a run for their money.
Overall, this was a great book. I really enjoyed the storyline and characters. I was super excited for Luca and I was not disappointed. I would recommend this book to others.
