Our Review:

What an emotional rollercoaster! I waited a couple of days to write this because I needed to fully process my emotions from this book. Surreal is the last book in the Judgement of six series. If you haven’t read the other books AND the companion books, then you are missing out on a huge part of the story. Surreal was an amazing ending to this EPIC series. This is one series that will forever be my go to when I am looking for something wonderful to read.

I can’t talk too much about the plot without giving it away, but let’s just say that this book is really the big climax of the series. I feel like this book is the book we have all been waiting for. I love how the author kept up the mystery surrounding who the final guy would be. I don’t think any of us were prepared for what we got. I do have the say, I was excited when I thought I knew who the guy way, but then when it was revealed who the real mate was, holy mind blown. Was not expecting that twist.

The characters in this book are amazing. We get to see the whole gang working together to try and figure out the next steps. I really liked Olivia. She is such a wonderful character. I know her character is courage, but I feel like she really was brave and showed a lot of courage throughout the book. I liked learning more about the history of these people as well. I think the author did an amazing job with these characters.

So this is where I usually talk about heat. There are some very steamy scenes within this book. They are written in a way that does not take away from the story, which is important. This book made me feel like I needed to be on high alert, and these scenes provided the momentarily relief needed to balance the action. The author was smart to include these scenes for readers.

I have always loved this authors writing style. The pace of this book is exactly what it needs to be. It is steady, but faster than the others. These characters have a lot to go through. Honestly, there is only two small parts of the book I wish I could have more from, which doesn’t take away from the book. Otherwise, I loved this book.

In conclusion, this is one of the best series enders that I have read. I have been waiting for this book for 2 years, since I first read hopeless. I am so happy that the author was able to give us readers an emotional yet wonderful ending. There are some major changes going on for this group. Get ready for it! Have your tissues handy because you will be crying. If you don’t then you are heartless. I cannot wait to read whatever you come up with next, Melissa!
