TITLE - Doggie Style
BLURB:
Rumours never bothered me. If people want to guess at my sexuality because I design dog clothes for a living—let them. I know the truth.
I’m a red-blooded heterosexual male and just because I don’t have my tongue hanging out of my mouth around every female like my dog Cooper, doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate the female form.
Now with Teegan Lowery in my life I’m suddenly panting right next to Cooper, hoping for a taste.
I hired her for her stellar PR skills, but she’s slowly weaselling her way into a spot I’ve kept a NO VACANCY sign on for years. Everything about Teegan screams unavailable. The last thing I need is another dramatic, high maintenance woman in my life. Believe me, been there and done that.
But the sexual tension between us is like a game of tug-of-war and neither of us wants to lose.
I love dogs.
She hates them.
Turns out, we both love doggie style.
A SEXY STANDALONE ROMCOM!
Johnaka's Review:
“Sometimes one breaks the stereotypes, 4 stars”
Leo, Leo, Leo…the dude can’t catch a break! He came to L.A. with one thing in mind and ended up doing something completely different but making his own mark. He got into the dog grooming and clothing business and life has been crazy busy ever since. After a disastrous experience with a crazy woman he doesn’t make time for dating. Everyone questions which team he bats for and he lets them because he’s never had a reason to correct them…until now.
Teegan is high strung, which is typical for someone in the PR business. Especially one who decides to go off on her own and has no clients except for one. Teegan is a control freak where Leo is as cool and calm as one can get. She wants to push Leo to become the best he can be. Only that’s a little difficult when you can’t tell which way he swings.
Leo and Teegan are polar opposites and I liked the way they made each other better. They really did balance each other well. I still loved the secondary characters even though there was one I wanted to beat, but you can’t like everyone. I really did enjoy Doggie Style, but for some reason can’t rate it a 5. That may be because I had to review it while going through one heck of a book hangover though from a previous review. Who knows later on I may come back after re-reading Doggie Style and change it to a 5. I still love Piper and Rayne and can’t want to see what kind of story they give Jagger.
