OUR REVIEW:
I could not put this one down, Catherine Cowles has blown me away with her breakout novel Further to Fall.
Carter has moved to LA to begin her teaching career, she has only a handful of friends and 1 of them is a famous musician. When she is stopped in her tracks by the most gorgeous man she has even seen; he opens his mouth and ruins it. Austin hated that she reminded him of everything he was trying to forget, being burned by an ex has made it clear that he is not interested in pursuing a relationship. Being friends was easy it was safe, but when feelings get muddled up it send them straight to opposite sides of the ring.
Carter and Austin had chemistry, everyone around them could feel it and was just waiting for them to get their act together.
This is an enemy’s to lover’s romance with a side of stalker and drama, Cowles showcased her writing throughout this book, reeling me in hook line and sinker I couldn’t put this story down. I really enjoyed the minor characters throughout, she has set up a solid foundation for future books; which I have crossed my fingers for.
I personally loved everything about this story and would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for your next favourite read.
