OUR REVIEW:
“Queen’s rise, 5 stars”
I love Royal stories, I can’t exactly pin point why exactly but there is just something about them that I love. Royally Yours, gah it just settled me need for a new royal love story. I love Chase’s stories but there is just something about the way she writes royal stories that has me crossing my fingers hoping that she never stops.
Lenora knew from a young age that she would become Queen of her country and rule her people. Her father prepared her for it her whole life. She thought she knew what she was getting into but was quickly mistaken. When they set the crown on her head it all clicked, she became her peoples Queen and she wanted to do them proud. Lenora has an uphill battle ahead, will she rise, or will she fall?
Edward went off and served his country, then he went on a grand adventure. He wrote to his brother telling him tales of his journey. His brother wrote back about the things him and his best friend Lenora were up to. Edward thought he would know Lenny when he met her, but he didn’t. She took his breath away, and when his brother makes a request he follows through. Only he never expected what would follow. Will he fall in love with his Queen?
Edward brought Lenora to life. She was fierce on her own but with him by her side Lenora truly becomes the woman and Queen she needs to be. My favorite thing about him was he had no problem with the power she wielded, he never tried to take it from her and tame her and I loved him even more for doing so. Their love story isn’t a simple one, it’s filled with heartache and scares, but dear lord was it worth it. Please, go one-click Royally Yours because this story, even though told in a different time needs to be devoured.
