I won’t lie and admit that from the very first book in this series I have wanted Eve and Max to get together. They did get together but not enough to satisfy me until now. These two had a long road to travel to get the HEA they both deserved. At times I wanted to strangle both of them and then I wanted to jump for joy for them. This is the kind of story that has you yelling about freaking time in the end.


Max doesn’t do strings, or the kind that lead to a white picket fence, a wife, and kids. That’s why his relationship with Eve is perfect. They live on opposite sides of the country and see each other when they can. It’s a relationship that doesn’t take much effort which is perfect because he’s married to his job. But what if something changes?


Eve wants more. Two years ago when they started this relationship it was perfect and it still has been until recently. Now Eve wants more. Eve wants more of Max’s attention, she wants more than a quick trip that still involves him working than spending time with her, and most of all she wants more of a promise. Does Max ever see them settling down and putting each other first or is it always going to be this back and forth?


I loved the whole concept of this story. I felt for Eve when she had to make the hard decisions and wanted to throat punch Max for being so blind even after the warnings from his friends. These two hand a long road to travel to get what they both wanted. He wanted Eve and she wanted more from him. Fall into Contracted because trust me, you’ll be on one heck of a ride.
