Genre: Contemporary Romance

About ANYTHING FOR LOVE:

Discover the magic of New York Times bestseller Melissa Foster's writing, and see why millions of readers have fallen in love with the Bradens.

In Anything for Love…
After Charlotte Sterling loses her last family member, she moves to Sterling House, her family's Colorado mountain inn, to live a solitary life. As an erotic romance writer, her days and nights are filled with passion and intrigue-even if only fictional. She loves her busy, quiet lifestyle, and she learned early on that real men can't live up to the fictional heroes she creates-until ruggedly handsome Beau Braden arrives to do some work at the inn and, for the first time in forever, she's intrigued by a real man.

Beau lost his first love years ago, and he's never let go of his guilt over her death. As he nears the anniversary of his loss, he is on the cusp of becoming the star of a home-renovation reality show. Escaping the painful memories of his past to work at the defunct old inn is just the promise of solitude he needs to clear his head before diving in to the all-too-public career. But he didn't count on being attracted to the whimsical, adorably sexy innkeeper.

Neither Charlotte nor Beau is looking for an attachment or a fling. But the more they learn about each other, the closer they become. Romantic evenings lead to intimate conversations, and neither can deny their deep connection or the passion it sparks. They've never fully healed on their own, but together maybe anything is possible.

OUR REVIEW:

Another great read by Melissa Foster. I love these intertwined stories of the Braden's and Montgomery's. They all have such amazing characters and well written stories. I love getting drawn further into the lives of these families.

This book takes us through the lives of an erotic romance novel writer and a renovation expert. I find it a joy to get into the lives of these new characters while catching up with some old friends I've previously read about. I liked how we got to see how the story progressed throw the eyes of two people who had suffered through a life changing event, and process the change in such different ways.

I quickly fell in love with the quirky writer Charlotte Sterling. Anyone who loves Twix bars that much get high marks in my book! Her passion for her writing and her love of fairy tales and life in general make her such an endearing character. She's both strong and secure as well as soft and vulnerable. She makes the perfect match for tough guy Beau Braden. Beau is a man who is loyal and kind and very logical and practical. Both are suffering in their own way, and their time togther forces them to deal with their pasts to get to a better place to work on a future.

Charlotte and Beau have it going on! Despite each starting out in a headspace where they don't seem ready to meet someone, or don't want to meet someone, you know it's going to happen. And when it does it's better than blow up dolls and chocolate. :) Honestly, I think the chemistry works so well because Charlotte and Beau weren't looking for it, and are so different. But, as Charlotte says, “He tasted of lust, fire, and the unique flavor of Beau.” But it's not all just sexxxy times, there's a real connection between the characters, which makes their chemistry work even better.

“...the heart is like a garden. If all the elements are right, it can breathe life into a wilting soul.” Ms. Foster breathes life into her characters and story. The detail for the locations, characters, and emotions draw you in and create a real world you can delve into. I loved each and every way the story progressed and the way the characters dealt with their lives. It was both realistic and romatic and novel in the most endearing “romance novel way.”

I love reading about the Braden and Montgomery families. They're amazing in their loving, loyal, dysfunctional way. Ms. Foster weaves such loving and romatic tales using charismatic and realistic characters, not only people but also the homes and towns, that I love to jump into all her books for a good escape of reality. I look forward to reading more of her novels and finding out how it all turns out for Charlotte and Beau.
