It's time for Brock to face the demons of his past. The same demons that have been haunting Ripley all this time.

And even if she does - will Brock be able to forgive himself for hurting the only person who ever mattered?

REVIEW:

“Secrets and second chances, 5 stars”

For Ripley and Brock it has only been each other. They were high school sweethearts and had plans for the future, until one night Brock’s worst nightmare happened and Ripley was left to deal with the fall out on her own.

Years later Brock finally comes home to visit his mother and runs into Ripley. The girl he loved has grown into a woman and there is no denying he still harbors feel for her. Will Brock finally put up his running shoes? Does he even have a chance with her and what secrets are holding her hostage?

Ripley lost it when Brock disappeared. If it weren't for Jonah she probably wouldn’t have made it. Jonah carries his own guilt for Brock leaving. Enemies turned best friends, Jonah takes his position as protector seriously when it comes to Ripley. He just hopes Brock stays this time because he's certain Ripley can’t handle another heartbreak.

Ripley knows she needs to give Brock another chance if she ever wants her own happily ever after. She’s known since she was 15 that he was her end game. But when he finds out her deepest darkest secret will he take off again? It’s not only herself she's worried about.

Take the journey with Brock and Ripley, you wont regret it. Your heart will hurt but then it will soar. You wont be able to walk away from these two. This may be my new favorite book of Evans.
