Release + Review - Catherine Cowles - Beautifully Broken Life

She’s on the run…

Tessa has finally found a safe haven in Sutter Lake, hiding in plain sight—just as long as no one asks too many questions.

He can’t escape…

Liam knows better than anyone how one wrong word, a single whisper can ruin a life. After seeing the darker side of fame, he's desperate to retreat and find his voice again.

Two people from opposite worlds, brought together by a connection neither expected.

But the forces they’re both running from still lurk in the shadows…

And you never know when they might strike.

Louise's Review
Tessa was living 1 day at a time; she had planned the perfect escape; 2 years on she is still looking over her shoulder ready to run. When Liam comes back to town to escape the reality of his life he runs straight into Tessa, shy and not willing to share anything about herself she pulls away but Liam continues to try and break down the walls she has carefully built. When a trip to the Vet brings them closer, their relationship changes and all the secrets come to the surface. Can they survive the past that both haunts them? I absolutely love both of these characters; Tessa is so strong and wanting to make her life her own without relying on anyone or putting them in danger. Liam intrigued me in Beautifully Broken Pieces, his protectiveness over his friends and I couldn’t wait to get to know the real Liam behind the Rockstar image. I personally loved this story, at an given moment I was reaching for tissues, laughing and sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next. Cowles has done an amazing job and I cannot wait to get my hands-on Jensen’s story; Beautifully Broken Spirit. Star Ratings; Plot: 5/5 Characters: 5/5 Heat: 5/5 Writing Style: 5/5 Overall: 5/5
