There is no denying that Noah likes to have fun. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to settle down. He’s just looking for the forever kind of love and he’s not going to waste anyone’s time if they aren’t the one. When Ruby Grace walks in for a barrel tasting he remembers the girl who used to sit behind him in church. Ruby Grace is no longer a little girl but a grown woman, a woman about to get married to another man. But why can’t he stay away from her? Will he get the girl or be stuck loving her from afar?
Ruby Grace loves her soon to be husband. She just wishes they would slow down. Some where along the way her wants and needs got pushed to the side and its all about him. But is that really so bad? Then she reconnects with Noah the guy she used to crush on every Sunday, but this time she gets to know the man. Noah makes her start to see things differently and start to question what she really wants. Will she ditch the fiancée or will she stay with him?
I loved Noah and Ruby Grace. The slow smooth feel of the book without it feeling like it was dragging was pure magic on Steiner’s part. It really screamed small town Tennessee to me. I love age gaps and some taboo and Steiner gave me both with On the Rocks so I was sold. Then add in all of Noah’s family and now I’m committed to the family’s journey and when those guys will get their HEA. I cannot wait to see what Steiner has up her sleeve next. On the Rocks is totally one-click worthy.
