If your ex arrives in your hometown eighteen months after
you walked out on him while you were eight months pregnant, follow this short
list of rules before you give him a second chance.
Rule #1 – Don’t stand in the way of your brothers who want
to rough him up.
Rule #2 – Don’t meet him for coffee and agree to allow him
to meet your daughter.
Rule #3 – Don’t drool when your daughter falls asleep on his
chest for the first time. It’s just your ovaries talking.
Rule #4 – Don’t let him hold your hand. While we’re at it,
no hugs, no kisses on the cheek… just no physical contact in general. That only
leads to remembering better times.
The last one is the most important…
Rule #5 – When you find yourself needing someone’s help and
you’re tired of always asking your family, don’t let him be the one who’s there
for you.
Because all those good qualities of his will suck you right
back in and you’ll have no chance of fighting your feelings, especially now
that he’s ready to be a father to your daughter.
Louise's Review
Rules for Dating your Ex is the last full-length book in The Bailey’s series, one that I have loved from the moment I started this series.
Sedona is being the best version of herself; she has an amazing daughter and has the most supportive and loving family. Jamison has comeback to starlight to claim his family, it may have taken him longer than it should have and when he put eyes on Sedona, he is sure he has lost her forever. Willing to do anything to prove he is worthy of his family; Jamison steps up and becomes the man he should have always been. When Grandma Dori gets involved there is no stopping her!
I personally loved this story, there was tears of joy and each page tugged at my heart strings. I know this is farewell to the Bailey’s but I am sure they will pop up again soon, because where there is Grandma Dori its her partner in crime Ethel and they have their sights on her Grandkids next in The Greene Family series.

“The final Bailey, 5 stars”
I have so many mixed feelings about Rules for Dating your Ex. Don’t get me wrong I loved the book, but I have been falling in love with the Bailey clan since Piper and Rayne first introduced them. I feel like they are family so now that all the Original members have found there happily ever after it’s a little bitter sweet.
Sedona and Jamieson had their work cut out for them. We met them when they were in high school. Jamieson was a foreign exchange student in Alaska from Scotland and fell for Sedona. In Rules for Dating your Ex you see how far these two have come. The struggles are real when you meet your soulmate and sometimes your journey isn’t exactly cut and dry. Sedona and Jamieson can give everyone a little a bit of hope that love will overcome everything if you put in the work. And let’s be real, I think that’s something we all need to hear right about now.
