What I thought
Kat Saunders is a worldwide megastar, singer for "The Grinders", top of her game until a tragic incident rips it all away. (No thanks to Gareth. Grrr) She retreats to her mother's mountain home that was left to her and tries to move on with her life, the best way she knows how. To close off, while out one day she literally stumbles across her new neighbour Dane Reynolds. He's a bit of a fitty so she ends up all in a tizzy and fakes an injury (so funny) and being the gentleman he is, he takes her back to his house to look after her. Only he's no gentleman, he's the president of the local motorcycle club!!!
We meet a few of the other guys hanging about the house.
'Rebel' is a creepy fan boy but bless him, he has a heart of gold.
'Fith' is a moody sod with a lot of secrets .
'Dirt' is the Sergeant at Arms and he owes Kat's mum and so in tun makes keeping an eye on Kat his job.
'Keg' is a "man's man" "with needs" (bleurgh) and moustache aficionado.
'Jonas' is the VP of the club and dudes got issues.
'Bear' is the Road Captain (and my guy <3 )
The guys, whilst still being an MC and all alpha, were also kinda country with their "mam's" and "darlins" and I really liked that, so i pretty much read them all as country in my head, and i think once you do you see the book a whole new light. It works. It really works! Another thing I really loved about this book (its probably my fave thing) is that its funny. Not joke telling laugh out loud funny. Just humorous, which is something I never get from an MC book, and something I appreciated. Definitely made it different.

So anyway, shit goes down with the locals. Crazy stuff happens thanks to some Douche who thinks he owns the town! And poor innocent people end paying for more of Gareth's incidents (Grrr) *poor fan boy* .
Enter the rest of Kat's band. They're all batshit crazy in their own way and there is so much to each of them (hopefully in more books) they settle themselves into the MC lives with the hope of closing the gap left my Kat's abrupt departure so with a plan in mind the all head off to LA to record a spot for TV and afterwards to celebrate. Along comes knobhead again (Grrr) here to cause more trouble. Thankfully he underestimates both Dane and the band.........

So to summarise. This book has A LOT of sex, all kinds of gory detailed sex, so if that's not your thing, this will be a struggle. However that is kinda my thing so it's all I could hope for. Sexy alpha men, lots of swearing, some good laughs, drama, intrigue and a rock band! Its different try it.
