REVIEW - Edge, Episode One by Jamie Magee

Title - Edge, Episode One
Author - Jamie Magee

Synopsis

Death came first...

When Reveca first crossed King she knew her heart was stolen. She'd never get over the likes of him. Not a warrior who understood the power within her and flamed it into life--a man who could read her soul with one gaze.

She was right.

He was ripped from her side, and she was imprisoned. The world around her died.

In a new life, in a new world, the pain was still as rich as the day it first tore her in two.

The dead call her the Queen of Darkness. To the living she's the Pentacle Daughter, the only female member of the Pentacle Sons MC. Both were well aware that she was a witch better left uncrossed.

The balance between the wars her and the Sons fought with both the mortals and immortals fueled the adrenaline they all craved--needed, but it never tested them...that is until King returned days after the Club was shaken to its core by a sickening betrayal.

As the past and present collide, the stakes have never been higher for Reveca, or the Sons.

What I thought

When an email landed with the opportunity to read and review a book that was a mix of Biker and Paranormal. I was like "What, Really???" I mean, these are two genres I adore, so having them both together.... SIGN ME UP!!!
"One thought. One focused thought enhanced with the raw power of her soul bolted forward, making contact with the flames. The explosion was instantaneous. The grief would be everlasting."
And I wasn't disappointed! I was confused tho, there is so much going on, so much information It was all a bit much for a part one, that said, I know that part one is just opening the door to a long series so the busy does make sense.

So, Reveca is all witch and had powers, she is also the princess of the Pentacle Sons MC. She is a woman scorned, not to be messed with and neither are the MC. Together they're a real force to be reckoned with to the living and the dead. The two words collide in spectacular fashion when a blast from the past renters her life and shakes everything around her to the core. When faced with her past, how will this queen of darkness react.

Err, not well :) She has to make a deal for a soul in order to save her fellow dark friend Grandee,  but this soul is not just any soul. This soul changes everything!
"She lifted her eyes to his, saw the dark pools reverently searching hers."
Steady pace, action, mystery, drama and intrigue from the get go, this is a series, I may have to follow!

"That was an easy out, that Reveca didn't want to give him. Going to jail would be a paradise compared to what she wanted him to endure."
