REVIEW - Below Deck - Tara Sivec

TITLE - Below Deck

AUTHOR - Tara Sivec

Declan McGillis can't stand rich people. But working as a deckhand on a luxury charter yacht, he also can't escape them. Declan has spent years kissing their ass and doing their bidding...whatever it takes to make his dreams come true, and nothing will get in his way of being the captain of his own yacht one day.

Mackenzie Armstrong knows what people think when they look at her. She knows from the outside looking in, it seems like her family has it all and doesn't have a care in the world. Things aren't always what they seem, and not only does Mackenzie have the weight of her family's struggles on her shoulders, she also needs to prove to Declan that she's not the spoiled princess he believes her to be.

Declan can't ignore the sparks of lust between them, even though Mackenzie is completely off limits and absolutely out of his league.

Mackenzie thinks a vacation fling is just what she needs to forget about the mess her life has become, and Declan is the perfect man for the job.

Will this be a quick romp in the water, or will it turn into something more when Mackenzie finally gets below Deck?

Holy hotness where do I even begin! This story had it all from the quirky, sexy as hell characters to the chemistry between them. Now that I'm done reading this I have to check out the Below Deck show that inspired Tara to write this marvelous book!

Declan McGillis works on a yacht. He's in charge of the deckhand. His friend Ben also works on the yacht. The next job his captain gives them papers on who will be on the ship, and when Declan sees Mackenzie Armstrong's picture his jaw dropped. Put those two together for a vacation and no doubt sparks are going to go off!

Mackenzie is a strong independent woman who cares about her father. The only way she was going to go on this vacation was if her friend Brooke came too. Her father agreed and off they went.

The characters of this story from the main characters to the supporting characters are given great detail. Obviously Mackenzie and Declan are the main characters, but Brooke is like a firecracker saying what is on her mind. Everyone needs friends like Ben and Brooke.
I enjoyed reading the attraction of Declan and Mackenzie.

If you are looking to escape on a nice yacht with some awesome adventures then one-click this book!

"Holy shit, you already broke your own cardinal rule and have a crush on one of the guests."

"I've been watching Mr. Hottie Pants over there stare at you all night when you weren't looking and sweet mother of God, the looks he's been giving you were enough to make me have an orgasm."
