“Finding HEA when you least expect it, 5 stars”

Harleigh was intrigued by Slate when she first saw him. What she didn’t expect was for their worlds to later collide. There is something about him that pulls her in. Will Harleigh be able to convince him he deserves more than what he thinks he does?

Slate thought he knew love at one point but he was wrong. There is no denying that he wants Harleigh the question is he good enough. He can’t seem to stay away from her though. Will Slate be able to lay old ghosts to rest to start something with Harleigh?

I loved the way these two interacted. They had the perfect amount of push and pull. I wanted them together from the get go. Like all of Vale’s books in the Bear Bottom MC there is just enough mystery and intrigues mixed in with humor. You cannot go wrong with this series.
