Release + Review - Chronicles of a Rockin' Mess - S.E. Rose

Blurb:
Rockstar Lincoln Grant is off-limits.  But that hasn’t stopped his assistant, Lark Sutton, from wanting him.

Lark put her own music dreams aside when she took a position working for the scandalous, playboy rockstar. After he finally does the unthinkable, she leaves him to pursue her own music and re-invent herself. Eighteen months later, Lincoln’s band comes knocking at her door, begging her to come back to help them with an out-of-control Lincoln.

At first, Lincoln tries to resist her help, but soon he finds that he’s falling for her. Will Lincoln change Lark’s mind about him or will she leave him and the band once and for all?

Johnaka's Review
“Does he deserve her? 3.5 stars”

Lark has been in love with Lincoln for a long time he just doesn’t know it. She does her job without fail and basically keeps him on track. Lately though he’s been worse than usual. When he forces her hand not once but twice she has some serious decisions to make where he’s concerned. Will she stay or will she go?

Lincoln one day realized he loved his assistant, but he knew he wasn’t good enough for her. Once he really notices her, he realizes he really doesn’t know her and tries to push her away. Will he be able to live with himself for hurting her or will he take a chance and change his ways?

I usually really enjoy Rose, but Chronicles of a Rockin’ Mess was just eh for me. I just couldn’t get into it the way I wanted to. I really liked the concept of the story though. It honestly could just be me and the mood I was in when I tried to read it. If you take a chance on Chronicles of a Rockin’ Mess I hope you like it.
