He’s bossy, moody, and overprotective.
He’s also a pro athlete who needs to focus on winning games and staying out of the headlines.
I’m fiercely independent and need a man like I need a second period each month.
So when our worlds collide, I never expected him to be the one to jump in and save me. Especially not when my roommate disappears, leaving me with her baby.
I’m clueless about babies—and it shows. Good thing Alexei isn’t. With six nieces and nephews and an apparent hero complex, the dude is both sexy and more than capable. It’s a combination that makes it easy to forget we’re just playing house.

OUR REVIEW:
“Pure unexpectedness, 4 stars”
Ryleigh is in over her head. Her old roommate ditched her baby with Ryleigh and she’s trying to figure out how to balance work, bills, and a baby. When she meets Alexei, she has no idea that her world is about to change. Is Alexei just helping her because she’s clueless when it comes to Ella or is there something more going on? One thing she knows for sure is she doesn’t want to burden him but what if she’s not?
Alexei did something completely out of ordinary when he met Ryleigh. He doesn’t bring strangers home and he sure doesn’t work to keep them to stay. There is something about Ryleigh that pulls him in and he can’t help but wish Ella was his. Can he manage to convince both Ryleigh and Ella that he is what they need.
I really enjoyed Finding Alexei. I love how he jumped in when he didn’t have to. I love how Ryleigh was willing to change everything to care for someone else’s child. The twist with Ella’s mom? Didn’t see that coming. The only thing that makes it a 4 instead of a 5 for me is I wanted more of the couple. I almost felt like the story went a little too fast for my liking. Aside from that little snafu for me Finding Alexei is a solid story that I think most will love.
