I’VE OFFICIALLY SCREWED THE POOCH.

I mean, not literally, because that would be
disgusting. But I did break one of the cardinal rules of Bro Code, which is
equally appalling. You see, I fell in love with my best friend’s sister after
he explicitly forbid me to go near her. As if that weren’t bad enough, I went
ahead and married her while sh*tfaced in Vegas.

I know that I should get an annulment and
forget the whole thing ever happened, despite the fact that our wedding night
was the hottest thing I’ve ever experienced.

The last thing I should do is go back for
seconds.

Or thirds.

Or...you get the point.

And what I definitely shouldn’t do, is say
f*ck the consequences and give this marriage a real shot.

But here’s the problem with that: I’m pretty
sure that Charlotte Harris is the one. And if that’s the case, nothing
is going to keep me away from her. Not even her brother.

*Deal Makers is filled with lots of laughs, drunken
shenanigans, and a sexy romance. It is the third installment in the Dealing
With Love series but each one can be read as a standalone.

OUR REVIEWS:

Jennifer's Review:

You know what they say about Vegas? Deal Makers is the third book in the Dealing with Love series. This book follows Drew, who I was beyond excited to get a story about, and Charlee, Brody’s sister. These characters have been minor characters in these stories before so it was good to get to see them get their own story.

I liked the plot of this story is the most. The idea of Vegas always gets me smiling. You just know it is going to end up with a stupid decision that is going to change lives. This story is no different. I mean getting so drunk you can’t see straight? Check. Marrying someone you weren’t supposed to? Check. Having feelings for that person even though you shouldn’t? Triple check. This story is everything I loved about Vegas.

Charlee is a good character. I liked her personality. She had a bit of snark to her. She also had balls, which is something a woman should have. Seriously. It sounds weird, but we should have the gumption to go after what we want more and Charlee does just that. She also has compassion and is selfless. I like that about her as well. Drew is an amazing character. I liked him from word go. He supported his sister so wonderfully and he is such an amazing uncle. I knew his story would be gold. Add in the fact that he is loyal to a fault? Well that is just perfect.

The heat between these two was amazing. Their chemistry was great. I really enjoyed watching their interactions with each other. Add in the element of forbidden fruit and an angry brother and you have yourself some tension. Tension often manifests into some great heat.

The writing style of this book was the best of the three. The pace was a bit fast still, but more manageable. I don’t know if the pace was slower or if I have gotten used to the authors writing style. I liked the characters in the book. The plot was written well. I will say that I was disappointed in Brody. While I understood his big brother ways, I felt he went a little overboard with it.

Overall, this was a good story. It was my favorite out of the three. I was excited to get to see Drew get his own taste at what the others had. He really deserved it after being an amazing big brother and uncle. He is a selfless person.

Johnaka's Review:

“Can they strike a deal? 3.5 stars”

There is no denying Drew and Charlee are attracted to each other. Charlee is all about exploring said attraction and finding out if there is more there, but Drew refuses to go near her no matter how much he wishes he could. Drew takes bro code seriously and where Charlee is his best friends’ sister that makes her off limits. What happens though when Vegas comes into play? The saying is what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas but what if they bring it home with them?

I enjoyed Deal Makers for the most part. For me it’s the best in the series. Deal Makers held my attention better then the stories before it but not completely. I had no problem setting the book down which is why its rated what it is. I did enjoy the chemistry between Drew and Charlee though and really wanted them together.

If you're looking for a fast-paced quick romance then look no further.

Author Bio

Laura's
passion has always been storytelling. She spent most of her life with her nose
in a book thinking of alternate endings or continuations to the story. She won
her first writing contest at the ripe old age of nine, earning a trip to the
state capital to showcase her manuscript. Thankfully for her, those early works
will never see the light of day again!

Laura lives
in the Pacific Northwest with her wonderful husband, two beautiful children,
and three of the most poorly behaved cats in existence. She likes her fruit
smoothies filled with rum, her cupboards stocked with Cadbury's chocolate, and
her music turned up loud. When she's not writing or watching HGTV, she's
reading anything she can get her hands on. She's a sucker for spicy romances,
especially those involving vampires, bad boys, or cowboys!
