each other, but it's like no time has passed. They were hot and heavy back then
and the spark's still there now. But they're no longer fumbling kids and they
know what they want... what they need. For Parker, that's giving up control to
more than one guy.

Gus is more than willing to deliver because he wants to
share a woman with Kemp and Poe. One look and he knows that's Parker. All three
big cowboys are going to give her everything she ever imagined... times three.
Oh, she'll get so much more than just the tip.

Remember: With a Vanessa Vale book, one cowboy is never
enough. In this smokin' hot series, each heroine gets an extra helping (or two)
of Grade-A Beefcake.

OUR REVIEW:

Tri Tip was my first time reading Vanessa Vale. This was touted as a standalone book, but I feel like I would have gotten more out of it had I read books one and two first. Overall, it was about empowerment, and going after the things in life that are right for you.

Our plot leads Parker and Gus back together after ten years. Both have grown a lot-both in a physical sense and in ways of the world. After being hot and heavy together in high school, they parted ways. But fate brings them back together in their old hometown. I liked seeing how both characters grew in their time apart. A good second chance romance is always fun. This one has the added hunkiness and drama of two extra cowboys in Kemp and Poe.

I think I liked Parker the most out of all the characters. She's not just strong, she's vulnerable and shows her humanity and is easy to relate to. She strives to understand those around her, and herself; to make the world a better place and make all the hard decisions. Gus is excited to have a second chance with Parker. But now he has his two best friends with him in his veterinary practice and in life. They are looking for a woman who can be with all of them. Which works out well for Parker who is looking for more than one man in her life.

Holy heck, nothing forced or stilted here! Only smoking hot cowboys and one cowgirl. It starts off a little crazy for me with Parker's trust in the three, but it works for the book. And before long, panties are lost and lives are entwined (and limbs, so many). The three men have such distinct styles that I think it helps with the flow of not only the book but their love and sex.

This was a very fast paced book. Super easy to read in one quick but steamy setting. It was a fairly understandable book, though I wish I had the backstory of books one and two to help with some of the characters and setting. I liked how the author dealt with the stereotypes and differences to show that love is love and tolerance and understanding are of utmost importance.

This book was a erotic feel good read. It wrapped everything up neatly for the reader, even when the reader is stuck in a world where things aren't neat, tidy, or full of the book's tolerance and understanding. I can't say I'm going to go search out all of this authors books and read them all, but this one was a great weekend read and should I find others on my reading list, I know I'll enjoy them.
