The Downside of Love is the 2nd book in the Blue Line
series, after being left on what felt like a cliff I couldn’t wait to get stuck
into this book, taking you on Journey filling in all the gaps that you
patiently were waiting for.
These 2 characters were portrayed perfectly, you got to know their
weaknesses and strengths within themselves and each other. Meghan did not let
us down in the heat department of this book, their chemistry was off the charts
and being in denial was fuelling it even more.

of love is heartache and uncertainty, but the upside of falling is finding an
everlasting love that will carry you through a lifetime of happiness”
Firstly, this book was not what I expected, Meghan gave nothing
away as to how and who this story was going to be about and that was a great
way to go into the book. I don’t like to give much away about the plot because
if I say 1 thing it will ruin it for anyone who was as excited as I was. The
best description I can give you is that if you loved The Upside of Falling,
this book will not disappoint.
Personally, I cannot fault this book, I felt the connection to the
characters straight away and I didn’t want to put it down, which is probably
why I finished this book in 1 sitting. I know this review was short and
(hopefully) sweet but I don’t want to ruin it for you, you will thank me later.
I cannot wait to see if there will be a 3rd book as were left with a
little Easter Egg surprise.

“Sometimes falling in love isn’t all its cracked up to be, 5 stars”
I won’t lie after the first book in this series I had a book hangover like a mother trucker, and now I feel complete. The story ended up being so much more than I expected. Quinn took a turn I wasn’t expecting and even though it left me a little pouty I still enjoyed it from start to end. Quinn set up little signs in book one that I never saw until they were pointed out in book two and it was brilliant. I can’t wait to see if she does anything else with this series.
Sometimes falling in love isn’t all its cracked up to be, or at least in Stryder’s case it wasn’t. See he did the unthinkable, he fell for Rory. Sweet, sweet Rory who is off limits to him. Then things start to change between the two of them. Will he be able to act on his feeling or will his guilt get the better of him?
Rory has been in love and in the end, it hurt. She did the right thing letting the man she loved go, but that didn’t make it any less painful. Now she’s picking up the pieces and when an old friend needs her help she acts. Rory is a fixer by nature, but what happens if helping a friend out turns into something much more?
I think what I loved most about this series is it was big on if you love someone be willing to let them go if its what’s best for them. The series as a whole shows different kinds of love and how it evolves over time and it was refreshing. You for sure need to read this series, you won’t regret it.
