Release + Review - Logan - Samantha Chase

Meet the Blackthorne men, each one as hot, fast, and smooth as the whisky that built the family fortune, and the yachts and race cars that bear their name. From proud Scottish stock, Blackthornes never lose. But, one by one, the seven sexy men in this family are about to risk everything when they fall for strong and beautiful women who test their mettle in life…and love.

It’s not easy being the youngest Blackthorne, and Logan has never shied away from a challenge. No matter what everyone thinks. Coming home to Maine finds him dealing with not only family surprises, but the shock of finding the caretaker’s daughter all grown up.

Piper’s dream is to design her own games, not play them. And Logan Blackthorne is the ultimate player. It’s one thing to hang out with Logan as a friend, but he’s far too charming for her own good.

Logan promises hours of pleasure, but should she settle for less than happily ever after?

Johnaka's Review
“Finding what you want, 4 stars”

Alright so, Logan is my first Blackthorne’s read. In some ways I wish I read the ones that come before it but that isn’t necessary, I just hate jumping into a series. But with the 7 brides for 7 Blackthorne’s books all of them are written by different authors so that a helped.

Anyways Logan is kind of a floater in the family company. He doesn’t want to pick one division to head up he wants his hands in all the pots. But that is no longer an option. When he goes home to Kings Harbor, he has some choices to make. What he didn’t expect was Piper. Sweet Piper the grounds keeper’s daughter is all grown up and he wants her.

Piper is a recent college graduate and trying to decide what she’s going to do work wise. She knows what she wants but is scared to take the plunge. She’s not one for the unknown. When Logan starts talking Piper up she can’t help but play into his hand. Its kind of funny the guy she’s known her whole life doesn’t recognize her. They fall into a relationship without talking it out. One thing is for sure they are both leaving town soon, the question is will they end there?

I liked these two. It’s kind of a friends to lover’s romance but not really. They just clicked and fell into a relationship with ease. The only thing I really wish happened that didn’t is see more of Piper in her work element. She has such a cool degree in what some would consider a guy dominated feel and I loved the idea, but aside from playing video games a couple times that was really it.
