“Second chances, 5 stars”

Probst took us on a journey in The Charm of You. Presley reinvented herself once and she’s been pretty happy ever since. I mean she’s still alone, but she doesn’t need a man to make her happy, that’s what her success in her career and friends are for. Then a ghost from her past reemerges. Will she fail her final test as the new and improved her or will she finally be the new woman she lets everyone see?
Nolan took Wall Street by storm and now he wants to embark on the career he’s always wanted. He’s back in his college town trying to start up a new business. When he sees Presley he instantly wants to know her. He works hard at getting to know her and get his life where he wants it. But what happens when he finds out that his past and present have collided? Will he be able to right the wrongs of their youth or is it a lost cause?
Nolan and Presley both have to decide if the other is worth the trouble. The journey to get to HEA isn’t easy for them and its full of old hurts. The Charm of You was a fast read that made me hope for the best and left me satisfied in the end. I loved the whole idea of what Presley and her friends started. I loved how Nolan gave one thing a try and decided to follow his own dreams. Take a chance to be charmed by The Charm of You.
