Irrevocable
Addison Jane
Blurb
Our pasts were a part of us.
Definitively.
Irrevocably.
Mine hijacked my dreams every night, drowning me in guilt and staining my hands red.
It wasn’t just a part of me, it stole a piece of me—the piece that stopped me from letting people get too close.
And I’d become pretty damn good at playing the untouchable asshole card just to keep them away.
But apparently, Dakota Samuels didn’t get that memo.
From the moment she accidentally walked in on me naked, she began to demolish any and every wall I’d ever built.
She was sexy and tenacious.
And I was addicted to the way she looked at me.
To the way she fought for me.
To the way her body felt beneath mine.
We were both done with running from the demons of our pasts.
They were going to find us.
They were going to try and destroy us.
And they may have won before, but like hell I was going to let them take her from me too.
Because if they tried, this time the blood I saw in my dreams would be theirs.
Our Review
Irrevocable is a fantastic MC read, the book takes you on a
journey of heartbreak, guilt, blackmail and love. Ripley and Dakota live their
lives apart, she is his sisters best friend and they have a push pull
relationship which builds their sexual tension higher and higher. When Dakota
is face to face with an enemy that could take away her family she makes some
choices that will impact everyone around her. Ripley has always told himself
that he isn’t going to put himself in the position to have a woman leave him
again, carrying guilt for most of his life he finally opens up, is he too late
and lose her forever?
Dakota and Ripley have sexual chemistry from the very moment she
stumbles into his bathroom, they play a love hate relationship taunting each
other each time to the point of frustration. When they are finally at the same
place at the same time everything aligns and their attraction and desire for
each other blow up the sky like fireworks, once they start how can they let go?
This is my first Addison Jane novel and I thoroughly enjoyed every
minute of it, it wasn’t your nitty gritty MC novel that takes you on a wild
ride of disrespect and illegal deals. Addison shows a side of the MC that is
giving and upstanding members of society that at the drop of a hat will defend
not only their blood family but everyone who is close to them.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to read MC
novels, with drama that keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting to find out
how the story ends and who will deceive them next. I cannot wait to read
Huntsman and Zoey book, I can only imagine it will be as good as this one.
