BLURB

Ash Jenkins was the typical boy next door. Wait, who am I kidding? There was nothing typical about that boy.

He was tall, ripped, and had the voice of a man twice his age. Intelligent, sexy as sin, and barely legal.

Sent to live with his dad after getting in some trouble with the law, he was definitely someone I needed to stay away from.

But he had his sights set on me, and he didn’t try to hide it.

Did it still make me a cougar if I was the prey?

OUR REVIEW

“A twist on an age gap romance, 5 stars”

Kristy had her daughter as a teenager and now her daughter is a teen. She’s finally getting to where she wants in life. Kristy has a good job, just bought a home for her and her daughter, and is genuinely content. The only thing missing from her life is a man, but that doesn’t really bother her, until Ash.
Asher is one of those old souls who is wise beyond his years. When he sees the lady move in next door he instantly wants to know her, then becomes leery when he discovers he knows her daughter. Even with knowing her daughter he finds himself drawn to her. He knows what’s at risk but knows Kristy is clueless, because she doesn’t realize how old he is. That’s why he keeps her at arm’s length until its safe.
Then Kristy and Ash fall into each other. Its far from easy between the two, messy like most relationships. But the question is will they sink or swim? Will these two last or will the weight of speculation keep them apart?
I truly enjoyed Kiss My Ash. I liked the idea of an older woman falling for a younger man and as far as I’m concerned Harper knocked this book out of the park. I think if you gave Kiss My Ash a chance you would fall in love with Kristy and Ash too.

AUTHOR BIO

Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child. She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped.

She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters.

She is now a mother of three girls, leaving her husband as the only man in a house full of females.

The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. Most importantly Leddy wanted to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.
