What I thought
When we first meet Lauren, she is your average former beauty queen. All vapid, and cosmos and Jimmy Choos. She is in a random bar turning her nose up at her surroundings, yano coz she's so much better than this, it's just unfortunate circumstance that she is in this bar on new year's eve. Enter tattooed sexy bar owner Jackson.Jackson has taken a liking to Sophie and being the "classy" girl she is, they have an almost immediate rendezvous! Like anyone who meets a sexy tattooed guy in a rough biker bar, she assumes he is a biker. He isn't a biker. He is a sexy smart observer who knows how to play the game.

Lauren and Jackson start a thing, they break all of Lauren's mums "rules" and start creating something special together, while breaking rules they break down walls and it gets a bit very romantic. Jacksons CRAZY ex tries shoehorning things, but Jackson is so Awesome with a capital A, she is totally dealt with.
"I've known a few weeks, I was debating whether or not to keep it."Laurens mum and dad annoyed the heck out of me, but then if I had a daughter like Lauren id probably be like that too.
"Think I've made it clear tonight that I've always had a different sort of man in mind for my daughter."
I had a few issues with this book. I think mostly though I just didn't connect with the story or the characters. That said, it was a short story and it killed a bit of time on the commute so if your after something quick that does not require much brain power, this is the book for you.
