OUR REVIEW:

So after the ending in The Game, I was stupidly eager to read the final part of this story. Everything seems to have stepped up a notch in The Prize. The pace is fast and the secrets are starting to unravel. Not to mention the heat and chemistry that is hard to ignore!

In The Prize, Zara and Tobias are literally jumping from one dangerous mission to the next, in their ultimate goal to unravel the secrets, clear their names and make sure the real villain is seen for what he is. Plus getting back Zara's priceless art collection wouldn't hurt either. But they are doing all this with plenty of people watching their every move.

I was extremely excited to reach this part in the story, although it wasn't exactly a 'who did it?' kind of ending, as we already know the details. I was more interested in what would become of Zara and Tobias. Would they be able to finish this all up, and become anything? I mean they were obviously a perfect match, but there was obvious factors that were an issue, and I was dying to know how they would work it all how.

Just like in the other 2 parts of this trilogy, the heat between Zara and Tobias was crazy, no matter what they were doing in the scenes, it seemed to be dripping with this unspoken frustration and chemistry that they had. They were struggling with the whole platonic thing, and to be honest it was quite hard for the reader too.

If there was any part of this story that I couldn't sing praise for, and I don't want to say it's negative, more a personal issue. Is that Zara, as a character was incredibly up and down. It was literally exhausting to read her changing her mind so much. I mean, I know that her whole life rode on what would play out between her and Tobias, every time she seemed to be on board with things, she would literally change her mind in the next breath. I totally get she was torn, it was beyond obvious, and it was something she felt strongly about, I get it. But she seemed to be so up and down, and jumping about so much. But I did really feel for poor Tobias, I was exhausted by her ever changing mind, and he managed to hang in there, bless him.

But overall, still thought this was an addictively good story, the plot was incredible, the background was genius. The writing was flawless as it always is with Vanessa's stories, and the heat levels were intense.
