OUR REVIEW:
Chase is the first Savage Kings MC book in the series and it was
quite an explosion of emotions. A second chance at love and possibly the worst
loss that anyone could ever go through, this book takes you on a ride of love,
lies and loss.
Chase found his forever girl and he wanted to make her his in
every way possible, but when a wreck and a tangled web of lies take it all away,
life as they knew it would never be the same. After 10 years apart, they find
themselves face to face feeling like no time has passed, they pick up right
where they left off. When a horrible tragedy takes someone they all love away,
blame starts being thrown around and revenge is on their minds. Can Chase and
Sasha finally have their happily ever after or will Chase ruin it to protect
the woman he loves.
Chase is a broody, dominant, loving Alpha male. He loves forever
and when it comes to his brothers he is loyal to a T. Sasha is a strong woman
who has been through hell, she kept her head held high and went after her
dreams, if she wasn’t having Chase by her side then she would fight for
everything else she ever wished for.
Chase and Sasha had explosive chemistry from the first page, after
10 years apart they haven’t skipped a beat, nothing compares to your first
love.
Lane absolutely smashed this MC book out of the park, she brought
in so much emotion that left me feeling like I had just been on a
rollercoaster. Lane brought Chase to life on the pages and gave us our fill of
bad boy / swoon worthy guy, with both Chase and Sasha telling us their stories
you felt the love and connection between them.
This was my first Lane Hart book and as a lover of MC series, this
is one that I can’t wait to see what happens. I personally loved the book and
felt all the emotions that the characters were going through, leaving me not
wanting to put the book down and reaching for tissues. I cannot wait for the 2nd
instalment of this series with Chase’s best friend, Abe.
