“Second chances, 5 stars”

Dangelico is a new to me author. I read the blurb and for some reason wanted to read Tie Breaker, so I jumped in, and I’m glad I did. Dangelico gave us a tale as old as time but with its own twists. I fell into the story and instantly liked the characters and where it was going. I think if you were to take a chance on Tie Breaker you would enjoy it too.

Noah fell in love when he was 13. That can be a blessing and a curse and, in this case,, it was a curse. His relationship with Maren couldn’t handle all the transitions they went through while growing and they separated. Even though they were over he still loved her. Now Maren is back, and he has a chance to make amends. His life is in Maren’s hands, always has been always will be. Will she be willing to give him another chance?

Maren fell in love with Noah when she was 10. It wasn’t easy loving him, but she did. Then one day that love was shattered at her feet. She picked up the pieces and created a life for herself far away from her home town. Now Maren’s back and she has to spend time with Noah. In that time spent together will she find a way to forgive him of his past sins or will she always hold him accountable for them?

P. Dangelico loves romance in all forms, cuddly creatures (four legged and two), really bloody sexy pulp, the NY Jets (although she’s reconsidering after this season), and to while away the day at the barn (apparently she does her best thinking shoveling horse crap). What she’s not enamored with is referring to herself in the third person and social media so don’t expect her to get on Twitter anytime soon. Oh, and although she was born in Italy, she’s been Jersey Strong since she turned six.
