REVIEW - Surrender - Amy Daws

TITLE - Surrender
AUTHOR - Amy Daws

Blurb:

*Part 1 of the Final Harris Brother Duet*
Coming July 19, 2018

One night of complete surrender is all it takes.

Gareth Harris is Manchester United’s reclusive star defender. He has control over all aspects of his life. But a lifetime of supporting his siblings and filling in for an emotionally absent father has taken its toll.

Sloan Montgomery is a clothing stylist whose world was turned upside down when she found herself pregnant and moving to Manchester with a man who was never supposed to be her forever. Now recently divorced and struggling with shared custody of her daughter, control is a fleeting concept for this American living in England.

Both Gareth and Sloan are in need of a release.

A moment in time where they can forget about their pasts and family pressures...and just...

surrender.

No one could predict what happens when both of their defences are down.

Surrender is part one of the Final Harris Brother Duet and concludes with Dominate. This duet reads great on it's own, but to maximize enjoyment, check out the first three brothers’ books in Challenge, Endurance, and Keeper.

Johnaka's Review:

“The final Harris brother, 5 stars”

I am one of those who was patiently waiting for what felt like forever for Gareth Harris’ s story, but once I got it I felt nothing but dread. Dread because this is almost the end of a series I have loved since the start and I knew there would be a cliffhanger of some sort. Even though I had been preparing myself for the duet for a while now it was kind of daunting to think about once the book was in my hands. But then I embraced the story and jumped, and holy guacamole did Daws take us on journey.

Daws takes us on a trip with Gareth and Sloan’s story. I want to tell you everything,

but I can’t because I firmly believe you should go up and one-click, read Surrender for yourself and find out for yourself. Gareth and Sloan are everything and nothing like I expected them to be. Surrender kept me on my toes from start to finish.

I may have started this story with dread in my belly because of the thought of waiting two weeks for the next part but now I honestly can’t wait. Yes, it still hurts my heart that the Harris family shenanigans are almost over but I’m embracing it and so should you.
