Reapers are the peacekeepers—the balancers of life and death, good and evil. They’re the police of the Underworld in a way. They keep both worlds balanced just enough so that the King of the Underworld can never escape his prison.
For the day his reign stretches into the human world, all things good will come to an end.
This is the story of a dark king who cursed seven siblings with sins, and how far those seven went to protect both worlds from the end of days when an old entity challenged the Dark One’s very reign.

Isabella Wen has spent the last decade in the human world hiding from the one that turned her touch deadly, made her body a weapon for his own gain.
Sebastian Reaper—bearer of the sin of sloth and the eldest son of the revered Grim Reaper—has spent his entire life fighting to stay awake because of his curse.
When the witch finds the sleepy sloth passed out in the human hospital, they touch and sparks fly. Her touch should have hurt him. Instead, it’s the one thing he’s after.
She thinks her darkness is her undoing. He thinks she’s his cure.
When her past and her future collide, he must choose between duty and heart.
The world or her?

Each book in the series is about a different sibling and their sin, so the romance has an ending in each book. As for the storyline, it’s just getting started

Our Review

You NEED to dive into this amazing and wonderful world! Bewitching Sloth is an amazing new novel that dives into a whole new world. It is a paranormal romance that is a stand-alone, but the main plot will span over the series. This book follows one set of characters while the rest will follow a different set of characters in each book. This book has action, romance, mystery, and a whole lot of Say What??
I knew as soon as I read the blurb of this book that I wanted to read it. I love paranormal romances, but I also love interesting story lines that I have never read before. This book gave me both. What would you do if you were cursed with one of the seven deadly sins? One that causes you to pass out at random times and makes you lose periods of time. This story explores Sebastian, who is cursed with the deadly sin of sloth. When he meets a witch that seems to change everything, will he take a chance on her or turn his back when she needs him most?
Sebastian is an amazing character. Man I am in love with him. He is the son of the Grimm Reaper and a reaper himself. I love his heart the most. While he seems cocky on the outside, inside he has a softness to him. Then you have Izzie. She is a very skittish person. She is on the run from her past when she runs right into the reaper. I love how strong she is. While she has a battle to wage, she stays strong and does her best to stay on the right path.
The heat in this book is scorching. These two characters have immediate chemistry from the very first touch. It is like the touch they share is a balm to the burn that has been torturing them both for their entire lives. If you like down and dirty heat, then this section of the book is perfect for you. These characters are amazing.
The writing style of the book is good. I loved the pace of the book. It was steady but sped up when it needed to. Time passed differently in the book, which makes since. A lot of the book is set in the Underworld so time would pass different than we assume as mere humans. I loved how the story was developed. The author was able to create a whole world for us to explore. She did great at setting this foundation for the series.
Overall, I am so in love with this series right now. It was unique and refreshing. The world building is just amazing in this story. Like I cannot wait to read more because I want more of these characters and more of the world. I would recommend this book to others, especially people who love paranormal romance.

“Seven Deadly Sins, 5 stars”

Once upon a time there were six siblings who were cursed with the seven deadly sins. Each sin different from the next. This is the story of Sebastian and his sin of the Sloth. I loved the idea of this story and was intrigued by where Gross would take it. Bewitching Sloth is action packed yet leaves plenty of questions for the stories to come. Gross is a new to me author and I’m glad I took a chance on reading Bewitching Sloth.
Sebastian works as a Reaper and loves his job. He sees both the bad and the good of the human world. When he stumbles upon Izzie he has no idea who or what she is aside from the fact she’s a witch. He was cursed as a Sloth and will fall into a deep sleep at inopportune times for an unknown amount of time, but with one touch from Izzie and he’s awake. What does this mean?
Isabel (Izzie) is on the run. As a child she was given to a bad man and she barely escaped his clutches the first time. Now she has Sebastian who wants to spend time with her and she’s leery. Especially when stuff around them keeps happening. She makes Sebastian feel alive and he makes her feel safe. What does this mean? What is happening?
These two balance each other out, but at he same time she has the power to bring his family down. I loved how his family kind of embraced her with open arms but wouldn’t get close. Bewitching Sloth took place over what felt like a short amount of time, so I am interested to see if the other books are the same way.
