Review: Bad Things
Bad Things by R.K. Lilley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Well this was another perfect example of how addictive R.K. Lilleys book are. I loved the Up in the air series and couldn't wait to hear what happened between Tristan and Danika from their brief moments in the other books. They were fiesty, exciting and full of secrets and that's just from those small appearances in the Up In The Air series. Bad Things just shows how addictive these characters really are. Tristan and Danika are perfect for each other. They start of as friends, amazing close friends. If it wasn't for the smoking hot chemistry between them, their friendship would be perfect. They manage to hold off from doing anything stupid for a surprisingly long time and just enjoy being friends. Yet you know it's just a matter of time. Little touches turn far more intense and stoke the fire burning between them. Once they let it take over though, it's obvious that they are more than just intense in bed. They are both so passionate that jealousy can run rife. Especially when they are both really gorgeous and coveted by anyone they encounter. Lots of obstacles are thrown at them both and how they handle it each time is sometimes funny, sometimes shocking. I was certainly holding my breath a few times, waiting for the bomb to drop. Some fantastic characters in this book besides the main two. Frankie, who also makes appearance in the Up In The Air trilogy is a regular in this book, and I love her too. She has such a great personality and full of fun, James Cavendish also pops in and is as perfect as he was in the other books. This actually made me want to re-read In Flight again. Must admit there was some tear jerker moments in the latter half that was shocking and sad. Made for a great finish to part 1.
