Let the Sky Fall by Shannon Messenger

Really, really loved this book. So refreshing to read something completely new to me. I will never feel the same around wind anymore. :) i loved the detail that went into this, makes you really think about elements around us.
The characters were great. Vane was totally likeable, i loved his sense of humour and honesty and the way he feels about Audra gives it the romantic aspect i love. Audra is also a great character, very dedicated and driven but also has a vulnerability about her that is really endearing and makes you want to route for her.
Excellent twists and turns along the way, i didn't guess what was coming before it did, like i usually do. Slower pace to start with but it more than heats up towards the latter part of the book and i had hard time pulling myself away from the story.
Typically frustrated at the end, cursing the amount of time i have to wait for the next one to be released but i'm sure the wait will be worth it. :)
