Review: The Indigo Spell

The Indigo Spell
The Indigo Spell by Richelle Mead

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Pheww that was quite the rollercoaster ride of excitement! This 3rd part of the series was amazing, the storylines are developing so well. The talent Sydney possesses for the more natural magic has become pretty impressive, I love the crazy teacher/powerful witch ( can I use that term? hmmm) that has taken Sydney on as her reluctant apprentice, thus dragging her into a crazy, dangerous mission on top of all the other things Sydney the multi-tasker extraudinaire seems to have going on. The Alchemists still seem to be crazy and secretive although Sydney is wisening up to them. She's like Nancy Drew in this book, she has amazing skills that girl and is now finding herself. We finally meet the mysterious Marcus, who I think was bigged-up a little bit too much he was a good character but a bit of a let down, but he succeeded in helping Sydney realise some important things about the Alchemists and her gorgeous yet powerful tattoo. Adrian becomes even better, if possible and I'm finding myself silently screaming at Sydney to just ignore her annoying internal moral battles and kiss him! He's completely adorable now and is trying so hard for her. Will it pay off and will she see sence hmmmm. Excellent ending, nail biting on so many levels!! Can't wait for Nov release of book 4, thank goodness there is a book 4!!!!!
