Review: Rumor Has It

Rumor Has It
Rumor Has It by Elisabeth Grace

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

*** I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. ***

I'd had this book on my to read pile for ages and was really excited when the opportunity came up to review it.
It was actually slightly different from what I was expecting, but not in a bad way. I'm not sure why I had a different idea of the storyline in my mind but somehow I did and after it went a slightly different way I was a little stumped.
To say all that, it was a really, really enjoyable read. The main characters Ellie and Mason are excellent. I fell straight for both of their stories and found both of them really easy to follow. Mason, being a famous hip hop star was totally different. I've read a fair few stories with musicians as leads but never hip hop and to be honest I thought all hip hop artists would be all gold chains and trousers round their knees so Mason was a pleasant surprise, a yummy one. I loved the initial chemistry between him and Ellie and their relationship became really sweet even though they were thrown so many obstacles. I found I could guess a few things before they happened but it wasn't overly obvious and I liked how all the story lines worked. With a fantastic outcome in all of it. Also an amazing ending! Very excited there is a 2nd book about Skye. She was a fab character and I know she will be lots of fun to read more about.
