Review: Shadow Kiss
Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
And it flows fast paced straight into the third book.
Loads going on, some unusual but amazing alliances between Rose and Christian who work out to be an amazing team. Adrian is ever present and still terribly endearing in the gorgeous bad boy with razor sharp wit. Rose is still finding out stacks about the truth between her connection with Lissa etc from what she learns about the original couple who had the bond, St Vladimir and Anna. It sheds light on some of the things she's experiencing and can't explain, especially the new additions of seeing ghosts, people she knew!
Dimitri is kind of annoying in this one, he's still so noble and fights how he feels about Rose but it's getting a bit boring now, it has to come to some sort of explosion soon, will it, won't it. ;)
When the big fight scene came towards the end where we see all the action in the caves etc it gets very nerve wracking but as I knew what was going to happen I was sort of say waiting for it to happen. I hate that, I like to be surprised.
Anyway full of action, loads to take in. Excellent book 3!
