Review: Wind Warrior

Wind Warrior
Wind Warrior by Jon Messenger

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

***I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***

Wow! This was such a great read. I actually hardly ever read books by Male authors and was intrigued to see if I could tell any difference. (Of course I couldn't) The style of writing and the detail that went in to this book was absolutely amazing. Loving paranormal and sci-fi stories I do see a lot of re-telling of the same subjects etc. This however was new and fresh and I loved it.
The battle between the elements opens up so many questions and thoughts for me, I almost wished the reader could of seen the other elementals to see what they could do. The wind and fire elementals had some amazing skills and the battle scenes were incredible, I was totally gripped.
The potential relationship between Xander and Sammy is exciting and I'm intrigued to see what happens with them. I found it a little difficult keeping up with the various POV's to start with as there was a few more than I was used to butI understand the significance of showing what was going on around everyone. It seemed to be very full on the whole of the book, which I love and am excited to read the next book.
